The Dunbar Village Business Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring Dunbar Village is a desirable place to conduct business, live, work, play and enjoy through the cooperative efforts of its members and local government. The DVBA was formed in 2008 and is comprised of three geographically separate areas on Dunbar between West 16th and 19th, West King Edward and West 30th, West 38th and 41st, and on West 41st between Dunbar and Collingwood Street. Dunbar Village has a fascinating history and its residents recognize that their neighbourhood's value is comprised of more than strict boundaries along the shopping corridor. This history has been captured in The Story of Dunbar: Voices of a Vancouver Neighbourhood and can be found at your local library or purchased from Ronsdale Press.
