As the major center of the northwest, Terrace serves as a hub providing essential services and support to neighboring communities and major projects in the region, at the same time boasting a rich blend of heritage and natural beauty. Terrace Downtown Improvement Area Society (TDIA) is at the forefront of enhancing our downtown core, fostering an attractive environment for businesses, residents, and visitors to invest, shop, work, and live. In collaboration with key partners like The City of Terrace and Tourism Terrace, TDIA actively supports initiatives that draw people to our downtown. From promoting the Shop Local program to sponsoring festivals and events in the downtown core, we contribute significantly to the economic prosperity and cultural vibrancy of our community. Our focus areas, spanning downtown revitalization, beautification projects, safety advocacy, public art initiatives, and grant coordination (including façade grants), underscore our commitment to leaving a lasting legacy and ensuring a thriving downtown experience for all.
